This week, we have more details about the Cosmic desktop, with a lot of customization for their panels, we have AMD going full FOSS for their firmware, and some interesting changes in the defaults for KDE Plasma 6!
@tlenewspodcast If AMD does release the open source firmware and it's compatible with my current laptop, I'll definitely switch to it. I'm also much more likely to get AMD for my next cpu.Also, I can't wait to try out cosmic when it does release. Hopefully it'll be available for other desktops and not just pop os.
@tlenewspodcast the #Firefox news is absolutely huge. if this feature will work smoothly it alone will push it to be the best browser in the market.total cookie protection, disabling third-party cookies, and now this banner reduction - just slap on some #uBlockOrigin and you never have to think about cookies ever again. genuinely incredible.
